The PBA World Series of Bowling Showdown powered by Lanetalk kicked off the 2022 Showdown Tour on February 14th! The tournament, hosted around the Guaranteed Rate PBA World Series of Bowling featured an exciting new format where the winner was determined by the final score of the PBA World Championship title match.
How to Win
Bowlers will submit a two consecutive game score that will need to be as close as possible, without going over, to the combined score of the two finalists in the PBA World Championship title match. The Championship finals will air live on Fox Sports’ FS1 Sunday, March 13 at 1 p.m. ET. Bowlers of all skill levels over the age of 18 are eligible to participate.

How it Works
1. Download the Lanetalk App from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
2. You can join by using Google, Facebook, Apple or your email address.
3. Answer the required registration questions.
4. Confirm your email address in the “Welcome Email” you receive from Lanetalk.
5. Select “Have Fun Now” at the bottom of the screen.
6. Select the “Play” button on the bottom of the next screen.
7. Select the “PBA WSOB Showdown” match card and select “Play.”
8. Enter your name into the bowling center’s scoring system at your assigned lane.
9. Now, in the Lanetalk app choose the lane number and name that matches what you’ve entered into the bowling center’s scoring system.
10. Start bowling and once you have completed 2 consecutive games, “Match Completed” will display on your screen and your score will automatically be submitted into the 2022 World Series of Bowling Showdown.
11. If you would like to submit a new score click “Play again.” Your highest 2 consecutive game score will be the one used for the 2022 World Series of Bowling Showdown.
12. Tune in to the WSOB PBA World Championship Title Match televised show on Sunday, March 13th at 1pm ET live on Fox to see if your score is the closest (without going over) to the total combined score of the two bowlers in the WSOB PBA World Championship Title Match
