Third Annual PBA LBC National Championships Set to Begin in Chicago Area
Open to bowlers of all skill levels from all centers, the 2025 PBA LBC National Championships are set to begin later this month in the Chicago area.
Norm Duke will attend the opening ceremony on May 31, kicking off seven straight weekends of action at Bowlero Mount Prospect.
Squads are available every weekend from May 31 through July 13. While some squads have reached max capacity, open spots are currently still available each weekend.
In the first two years of the PBA LBC National Championships, more than $675,000 have been awarded.
The tournament features eight divisions, offering bowlers of all skill levels an opportunity to thrive.
The Open Classic division will compete for a $25,000 guaranteed first-place prize, while the Men’s Handicap, Women’s Handicap, Women’s Classic, Senior Classic and PBA Exempt divisions offer $5,000 for first place. The Boy’s Jr. Handicap and Girl’s Jr. Handicap winners will receive $2,500 in SMART scholarships.
All eight division winners will also advance to the PBA LBC National Championship Clash to compete for additional prizes and The Duke.

Norm Duke presents The Duke to 17-year-old Gianna Brandolino, who won the Clash in 2024.
Players will bowl six games across 12 lanes on the 2025 PBA LBC National Championships oil pattern, which is 42 feet long.
In the optional doubles and team events, players can sign up with anyone — including PBA Tour players — on their squad or future squads. The first three games of the tournament will count towards doubles scores, while the last three games will count for the team event.
Players can register for doubles and team events for $25 per bowler.
More than a dozen PBA Tour players are scheduled to compete in this year’s PBA LBC National Championships, including Kyle Troup, EJ Tackett and Bill O’Neill.
Follow the PBA LBC Facebook page for more information, including competition dates for additional PBA Tour players.
All squads of the PBA LBC National Championships will be livestreamed on the PBA's YouTube channel.
