For the second consecutive year, BowlTV PBA Regional Players Invitational will take place at the iconic National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nev. The end-of-season tournament for the PBA and PBA50 Regional Tours will be held Dec. 11-14, 2025 and rounds of the RPI will be livestreamed on BowlTV.

Caesars will be the official host hotel, offering top RPI qualifiers free rooms and all players discounted rates.

The RPI celebrates the achievements of the top regional players in the country and offers an opportunity to make the leap to the national tour. The champion of each division will earn an entry to their respective national tour’s Tournament of Champions next season.

The PBA RPI trophies are named in honor of Chris Warren, who is tied with Pete Weber for the record with 47 career PBA Regional Tour titles. Add in his 12 PBA50 Regional Tour titles and Warren trails only Walter Ray Williams Jr. in total regional titles.

In addition to the RPI, Reno’s National Bowling Stadium hosted the PBA World Series of Bowling from 2015-17 and again in 2025. The venue also hosted the U.S. Open and USBC Masters in 2021.

“Reno Tahoe is proud to welcome the 2025 PBA Regional Players Invitational, especially so in a year that also brought the PBA World Series of Bowling to the National Bowling Stadium,” said Visit Reno Tahoe President and CEO Mike Larragueta. “We truly believe that Reno Tahoe is the home of bowling. The Northern Nevada tourism community is dedicated to the continued support of the PBA and its members, as well as professional and amateur bowlers throughout the world and right here in our own backyard.”

“Caesars Entertainment and the Silver Legacy, Eldorado and Circus Circus Reno are honored to welcome the PBA back to The Biggest Little City!” said Mark Huse, the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Silver Legacy, Eldorado, and Circus Circus Reno. “Our Reno properties have been long-time supporters and proponents of a flourishing bowling community here in our city, especially due to our proximity to the National Bowling Stadium. More importantly, the bowling community is part of our family, and we are excited to welcome them back home!"

Fourteen players from each of the seven PBA Regional Tours (East, Central, Midwest, South, Southwest, West and Northwest) will qualify for the event, including 10 from each region’s points list and four from each region’s RPI qualifier event.

The top player in points from each of the PBA Sweden and PBA Japan Regional Tours will also qualify for the RPI.

In the PBA50 division, four players from each region’s points list and three from each region’s RPI qualifier event will qualify for the RPI.

The points list in each region includes points earned from Nov. 14, 2024 through Nov. 13, 2025.

To qualify for the RPI, players must be a full PBA member with all dues paid up in full and bowl at least three regional events within the region in which they qualify.

The following players are ineligible to compete in the RPI:

  1. PBA Hall of Famers (based on Superior Performance)
  2. PBA Tour players who own four or more PBA Tour titles
  3. PBA Tour players who earned more than $40,000 during this current PBA Tour season (through the PBA Playoffs)
  4. PBA50 Tour players who rank top 10 in points at the end of this season (PBA50 division only)

Additional RPI eligibility and rules can be found here.

“The PBA Regional program is the lifeblood of the PBA,” PBA Commissioner Tom Clark said. “Thanks to all of our wonderful partners in Reno, the RPI will continue to grow as the signature destination event for our regional stars.”

In the PBA division, all players will bowl 18 games of qualifying with the top 24 players advancing to bracket match play. The top eight qualifiers will earn a one-round bye.

Match play will consist of best-of-five-games Rounds of 24, 16 and 8, followed by a best-of-three-games semifinal and single-game championship match.

PBA division players will compete for a $15,000 first-place prize, while the top 33 players will cash for a minimum of $1,000.

The PBA50 division offers a $10,000 top prize and a $1,000 minimum cash for 16th place.

After 18 games of qualifying, the top 12 players will advance to match play with the top four qualifiers earning a one-round bye. Two best-of-five-games rounds will be followed by a best-of-three-games semifinal and single-game championship match.

The defending champions, pictured above, are Manny Ferrell and Randy Weis in the PBA and PBA50 divisions, respectively.

All rounds of the RPI will be livestreamed on BowlTV.
