Participant must be a USBC Member in good standing. Non members must meet PBA average requirements.
PBA and PWBA Members: $220
Non-Members: $285 (money order, cashiers check or credit card only)
PWBA members who are not also PBA members must enter events through the Regional Manager in order to receive the $220 member entry fee rate. Any PWBA member who is inadvertently charged the non-member entry fee should contact the regional manager immediately.
Online entries for members and non-members close at midnight on Monday, July 17, 2017.
After the deadline, entries must be made directly with the PBA Southwest Region Manager.
1st Place is projected to pay $2,500
16th Place is projected to pay $500
Final cash spot is guaranteed to pay a minimum of $400.
Two sets of $5 brackets will be offered during qualifying games 2-4 and 5-7.
Reminder: All personal need to stop by the Visitor's Center to get a pass to come onto the base. Please allow up to 30 minutes to obtain pass.

Modified Round Robin Match Play: 12 Noon. – (8 games)
Finals format will be adjusted accordingly with less than 63 entries.
PBA Challenge Information
In each of the PBA’s eight regions (East, South, Central, Midwest, Southwest, West, Northwest and Japan), the competition points leaders of each region as of October 15, 2017 will earn a paid entry into the World Series of Bowling IX along with a berth in a special eight-game match play roll-off leading to two men advancing to the PBA Challenge Finals. The WSOB IX will be held at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nevada.
PBA Grand Hotel/Casino/Resort Southwest Region Invitational
This event will count for points.
Grand Hotel Casino Resort Points
Grand Hotel Casino Resort Points will be awarded for all PBA Southwest Region open events from July 17, 2017 to July 16, 2018.
Invitational Field Makeup
The top 28 players from the Grand Hotel Casino Resort Point List that have bowled a minimum of three events will be invited.
The top two players from the Grand Hotel Casino Resort Point List that bowled one-half the open Southwest Region events, but fell below the top 28 point leaders, will be invited.
Two invitees that have bowled a minimum of three open Southwest Region events will be chosen by the Grand Hotel Casino Resort to complete the field of 32 players.
