Tournament Notes

Participant must be a USBC Member in good standing. Non members must meet PBA average requirements.

PBA and PWBA Members: $220
Non-Members: $285 (money order, cashiers check or credit card only)
East Region Bowlers: Please enter this event through Central Region.
PWBA members who are not also PBA members must enter events through the Regional Manager in order to receive the $220 member entry fee rate.  Any PWBA member who is inadvertently charged the non-member entry fee should contact the regional manager immediately. 
Entry Deadline
Online entries for members and non-members close at midnight on Monday, March 13.
After the deadline, entries must be made directly with the PBA Central Region Manager.
Prize Fund
1st Place is projected to pay $2,500
16th Place is projected to pay $600
Final cash spot is guaranteed to pay a minimum of $400.

PBA Tournament Qualifying Sweeper
Sunday, February 26th at 1:00 p.m. (check-in one-hour prior)
Entry fee is $60. 1:6 will earn an entry into regional.
Side Pots/Brackets will be available.
PBA Members and SMART bowlers are welcome.
4 games across 8 lanes on the tournament pattern…based on total pins.
Note: Non-Members must meet 200 average minimum requirement.

Practice Session:  1-3 p.m.
Orientation Meeting: 3 p.m. (Mandatory for all first-time participants)
High-School Clinic: 5:30 p.m.
Pro-am: 8 p.m.
Saturday, March 18
Roll call is 30 minutes prior to all squads.
A Squad: 9 a.m. – (eight games)
B Squad: 3 p.m. – (eight games)
Top 16 players advance (based on 63 entries or more).
Sunday, March 19
Round Robin Match Play: 10 a.m. – (12 games)
Top five players advance to a stepladder roll-off.  
Finals format will be adjusted accordingly with less than 63 entries.
PBA Challenge Information
In each of the PBA’s eight regions (East, South, Central, Midwest, Southwest, West, Northwest and Japan), the competition points leaders of each region as of October 15, 2017 will earn a paid entry into the World Series of Bowling IX along with a berth in a special eight-game match play roll-off leading to two bowlers advancing to the PBA Challenge Finals.
