The tournament ‘cut to match play’ procedure was changed to accommodate the lack of entries in order to maintain the basic same basic format for the doubles event. 1 in 3 ‘kids’ will advance to match play up to 24 players.
PBA Challenge Information :
The top eight bowlers from the PBA50 Tour standard point list advance to the PBA Challenge to be held at the PBA World Series of Bowling VII in Reno, Nevada. PBA Challenge qualifiers receive a free WSOB VII entry. Following an eight-game match play round at the National Bowling Stadium, the top two PBA50 bowlers will advance to an ESPN final.
Bowlers must be at least 50 years of age to enter the PBA50 division.
PBA Tour is an open division.
All participants must be a member of the USBC in good standing.

PBA Tour/PBA50 Tour Baker Team Formation
Doubles teams will be formed after qualifying is complete.
1:3 up to 24, (minimum of 8 regardless of entries) from the PBA Tour division will advance to the Baker Doubles Team Brackets.
24 from the PBA50 Tour division will advance to the Baker Doubles Team Brackets.
Individuals will be paired according to their qualifying position.
Example: If only the minimum number of eight PBA Tour entrants advance, PBA Tour qualifier #1 will be paired with PBA50 Tour qualifier #1, etc. Following those eight pairings, the remainder of senior qualifiers would be paired. Seniors qualifiers 9-10 would be paired; senior qualifiers 11-12 would be paired etc.

Points will be awarded solely on the bowler’s final qualifying position within each division.
Mandatory Non-Member Meeting
A mandatory meeting for all non-members will be held 30 minutes prior to the first practice session.

PBA50 Squad Practice Session: 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
PBA Tour Practice Session: 11:30 – 1 p.m.
PBA Super Seniors making the cashers round in the USBC Super Senior Classic will have a separate practice session (limited lanes) 7-8:30 p.m.
Pro Am Squads: 2, 4, and 6 p.m.
Thursday, August 6
PBA50 Squad: 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
PBA Tour Squad: 3 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Friday, August 7
PBA Tour: 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
A Squad: 3 p.m.– 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 8
Teams qualifying 15-18 bowl best-of-five games at 8 a.m.
Winners and teams in positions 9-14 bowl best-of-five games at 10:30 p.m.
Winners and teams in positions 5-8 bowl best-of-five-games at 2:30 p.m.
Winners and teams in positions 1-4 bowl best-of-three-games at 4:40 p.m.
Round of 4 (one game) begins at 7 p.m. (T.V. Style)
