Las Vegas, Nevada – Chris Warren is one of the most decorated regional players in professional bowling. He has won the USBC Masters and the USBC Senior Masters. Come Sunday, he has the chance to win this event again. 

The Texas native came into Saturday’s double-elimination match-play as the No. 3 seed. He went undefeated while averaging 236.3 over 12-games inside Sam’s Town Bowling Center.

In the battle for the No. 1 and No. 2 seed, Warren opened with a 300 game against #29 Dan Knowlton. Warren went on to win 686-634. Before that, Warren shot 707, 712 and 731. Knowlton went undefeated with 780, 752 and 739 before losing to Warren. Warren is seeking his second PBA50 title. At the top seed, he would have to be defeated twice.

Left-hander Brian Hoffman began his Saturday by defeating No. 2 seed Anthony Crews. Hoffman, who was the 15th seed, shot 234, 279 and 300 to get the win with an 813 series. He followed that up with 705 before losing to Warren with a 678. Hoffman bounced back in the final match of the day with 290, 259 and 226 for 775 to earn the third seed in the stepladder finals.

Fellow lefty Kevin Jenkins has had an eventful tournament. On Friday, he advanced to the bracket by just one pin as the No. 64 seed. On Saturday, he shot 732, 664, 667, 757 and 813 to get into the final 4 for 3 match. He ended his day with 727 to be the fourth seed to make his first stepladder finals appearance.

Amleto Monacelli was the No. 58 seed. He shot 727, 664, 760, 648 and 724 to earn the fifth seed in the stepladder. Monacelli won this tournament in 2015 and 2019. The stepladder finals is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Eastern Sunday on BowlTV.
