Las Vegas, Nevada There was a little bit of déjà vu on Tuesday inside Sam's Towm Bowling Center. Just two days after Parker Bohn III defeated fellow left-hander Andy Neuer at the 2026 USBC Super Senior Classic, the same two players are sitting in first and second place on day one of qualifying at the USBC Senior Masters.

But this time, Neuer holds the advantage. After starting out with 203, 229 and 243, Neuer bowled a 300 and kept striking through the 11th frame in game five for 299. He was on a streak of 26 straight strikes, which helped him leap into first. He finished with a five-game total of 1,274, a 254.8 average. Bohn III remained hot inside Sam’s Town. He had just one open frame on his way to a total of 1,260, averaging 252.

Michael Machuga is averaging 250.4 sitting in third place with 1,252. He is followed by Steve Kloempken, who led the B-squad, with 1,217 in fourth and Tom Hess at 1,212 is fifth. Hess won this tournament in 2021.

In addition to Neuer, Anthony Crews, Terry Taylor and Charles “C.K.” Moore also had perfect games. Overall, 12 bowlers averaged 240 or higher. Defending champion Tom Daugherty, who is guaranteed a spot in the top 64 after qualifying, is currently in 91st place with 1,117 (+117). The cut line is currently at +143.

The B-squad will be on the lanes first starting at 11 a.m. Eastern on Wednesday followed by the C-squad at 3 p.m. and the A-squad at 7 p.m. The 309-player field bowl 15 total games of qualifying. You can watch them all compete only on BowlTV.
