The 2026 PBA Tour powered by Go Bowling rolls on to the Show Me State to honor a legend among legends.

The third annual PBA Pete Weber Missouri Classic makes its debut in the outskirts of Weber’s hometown of St. Louis.

A top prize of $30,000 and the second PBA Tour title of the season is up for grabs this week at Bowlero St. Peters.

Rookie Encore

Brandon Bonta engineered a perfect start to his PBA Tour career with a 300 game and a major title in Texas. Bowling fans around the world will have a newfound focus on the Wichita product.

But Bonta was far from the only member of this year’s vaunted rookie class who performed well in the PBA Players Championship. His college teammate, Spencer Robarge, famously also made the show, while CJ Petrin finished 14th overall.

Legends Only

Being a surefire future Hall of Famer has been a prerequisite for winning the PBA Pete Weber Missouri Classic in each of the past two years.

Anthony Simonsen and EJ Tackett, who have won a combined 43 PBA Tour titles with 12 majors, captured the title in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

Whether the trend continues or proves to be an aberration is besides the point: Today’s top stars covet the trophy engraved with the name Pete Weber.

O’Fallon’s Own

While Weber grew up in St. Ann, located about 20 miles east of St. Peters, an active two-time PBA Tour champion lives a whopping four minutes away from this week’s host venue.

Kyle Sherman, the new lead color analyst for the PBA on CW Tour, will celebrate his new gig and a homecoming week.

Kyle Sherman made his color analyst debut during last week's PBA Players Championship.

Format

All players will bowl 18 games across three qualifying rounds and the 45-foot Dick Weber oil pattern will be utilized for the entirety of the tournament.

The top 24 players following Thursday morning’s qualifying round will advance to elimination match play. Each match will be the best of seven games.

The winners of each bracket, as well as the highest-seeded loser in the Round of 8, will advance to the stepladder finals.

The championship round is set for Sunday, March 1 at 4 p.m. ET (3 p.m. local time).
