Four players remain in contention for the final title of the 2026 PBA Tour powered by Go Bowling.

The all-European final in the Storm Lucky Larsen Masters, taking place at Olympia Bowling in Helsingborg, Sweden, will begin at 1 p.m. ET on Monday, Aug. 31.

Finland’s Tomas Käyhkö will meet England’s Raymond Teece in one semifinal, while Swedes Carl Eklund and Albin Gullstrand meet in the other semifinal.

All semifinal and championship matches are a single game.

Fifty-five players advanced to Sunday’s competition after 27 qualifying rounds.

In Final Step 1, a five-game advancer round featuring the qualifiers No. 26-55, PBA Tour stars Kyle Troup, EJ Tackett, Jesper Svensson and Santtu Tahvanainen were among the 15 players to advance and meet the top 25 qualifiers in Final Step 2.

Svensson looked poised to win his second SLLM title in three years after obliterating the field on the 38-foot oil pattern. Svensson fired games of 25, 248, 277, 257, 246, and 246 to post the highest six-game block of the tournament and earn the top seed for match play.

Käyhkö’s closing games of 300, 268, and 278 powered him to the second seed, while Andrew Anderson, Tackett, Zach Wilkins, Justin Knowles, and Tahvanainen also represented the PBA Tour in the bracket.

Europeans Markus Jansson, Raymond Teece, Carl Eklund, Mathias Otting, Daniel Börner, Teodor Samuelsson, Tomo Gaber Pinteric, Albin Gullstrand, and Anton Andersson also advanced to match play.

The first two rounds of the elimination bracket were three-game total pinfall matches, much like the USBC Masters.

Svensson continued to dominate as he dispatched Anton Andersson with a 785-636 victory.

But the Swede’s homecoming came to an end in the quarterfinals at the hands of 20-year-old Carl Eklund. Eklund improved each game, mounting 255 in Game 3 to eliminate Svensson 686-652.

"He’s the best bowler in Sweden," Eklund said of Svensson to Bowling Life's Erikas Jansonas. "I barely remember the finals. I wish I could walk you through it, but I only remember stepping up into the 10th. Everything I’ve done to get here, I think I’ve done almost everything the best way I could."

Raymond Teece advanced through Final Steps 1 and 2, then dispatched 2024 SLLM runner-up Teodor Samuelsson and qualifying leader Tomo Gaber Pinteric in his two matches on Sunday. Teece lost to eventual champion Sean Rash in the quarterfinals last year.

Teece described the upcoming semifinal and championship match as "the biggest, potentially, two games of my career."

“I’m just going to try and focus on what I can control,” Teece told Bowling Life's Erikas Jansonas. “But if it all goes well for me, if it works out for me, then it would be a dream come true. It would be a lifetime of dreaming, a lifetime of working and a lifetime of, shall we say, emotional torture through my career to get here, and hopefully take it home.”

Albin Gullstrand, a two-handed lefty, earned a bye to Final Step 2 and secured the No. 14 seed for match play. He fired 791 to eliminate Markus Jansson in his first match, then 714 to take down EJ Tackett in his second.

“I was nervous against him. I mean, it’s EJ Tackett," Gullstrand told Bowling Life's Erikas Jansonas. "It’s not everybody who beats him. So it’s really cool to sit here today, and I beat EJ to sit here. It means everything. I knew I had nothing to lose. I just tried to win and do what I do best, and it finally worked.”

Tomas Käyhkö is the lone full-time PBA Tour player among the four finalists. He defeated a pair of PBA Tour champions in Santtu Tahvanainen and Zach Wilkins en route to earning a berth in the semifinals.

“Winning today would be a dream come true, something I’ve been dreaming about all my life," Käyhkö told Bowling Life's Erikas Jansonas. "This kind of feels like an international event combined with a PBA event, but I feel like I maybe have a little bit more experience on TV than the others, so it might give me a little bit of an edge."

All four finalists are seeking their first PBA Tour title.
