
Parker Bohn III extends lead at USBC Senior Masters
Las Vegas, Nevada – Parker Bohn III continued to stay hot on Wednesday in the 2025 USBC Senior Masters. The smooth lefty averaged 250.8 for his second five-game qualifying block with games of 246, 208, 279, 246 and 275 for 1,254. He increased his lead and now sits on top at +539.
John Janawicz, who won this tournament in 2023, started each of his first two games with eight straight strikes for 250 and 267. He added 223, 258 and 216 for a 10-game total of 2,434. He is in second place sitting 105 pins behind Bohn III.
Tom Adcock posted the second highest block of the day with 1,272 to jump from 30th to third place. Andrew Rettig of New York worked his way up to +408 in fourth place. He is followed by Tom Daugherty, who also had himself a strong day at Sam’s Town Bowling Center shooting 1,260 to move from 32nd place to fifth.
The highest block of the day came from B-squad leader Amleto Monacelli with 1,286. That took Monacelli from a five-way tie in 72nd to seventh place.
The final five games of qualifying in this major championship will get underway with C-squad starting at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday followed by A-squad at 3 p.m. and B-squad at 7 p.m.
After qualifying is complete, the top 63 bowlers and defending champion Jon Rakoski, who is currently in a tie for 105th place at +144, will advance to double-elimination match-play set to begin on Friday.
