The opening rounds of the 2025 BowlTV PBA Regional Players Invitational were a high-scoring affair at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nev.

Mike Ruben led the PBA division through two rounds of qualifying. He averaged more than 251 for his dozen games on the day, tallying a total pinfall of 3,013 (+613).

Tim Ursillo (+581), Jeff Mann (+568), Riley Woodard (+533) and Aaron Major (+494) round out the top five.

The current cut in 24th place is Andrew Hall with a total pinfall of 2,810 and an average north of 234.

The three players leading the race for 2026 PBA Tour priority entry status are Mann, Matt Taylor and Ryan Burton.

Only players who finished top five in their region’s points list were eligible to compete for this distinction, which will be determined after Saturday’s third round of qualifying.

Robert Lawrence led the PBA50 division with a total pinfall of 2,770 (+370), averaging more than 230 for his 12 games. 

Kyle Bigelow (+369), Michael Clark Jr. (+351), Blaine Weninger (+337) and Michael Hartter (+331) round out the top five.

Eric Adolphson occupies the current cut in 12th place with a total pinfall of 2,651 (+251), an average just shy of 221.

The BowlTV PBA Regional Players Invitational offer a combined $125,000 prize fund across both the PBA and PBA50 divisions, including a $15,000 top prize in the PBA division and $10,000 for the PBA50 division winner.

The PBA RPI trophies are named in honor of Chris Warren, who is tied with Pete Weber for the record with 47 career PBA Regional Tour titles. Add in his 13 PBA50 Regional Tour titles and Warren trails only Walter Ray Williams Jr. in total regional titles.

Additionally, the winners will receive an automatic entry into their respective 2026 PBA Tournament of Champions field.

All players are competing on a 40-foot oil pattern.

Competition resumes with the final round of qualifying at 10 a.m. local time (1 p.m. ET) on Saturday.
