Division champions to compete for The Duke at Strobl Arena

The Duke is perhaps the most coveted trophy in bowling. This September, eight players will compete for the bronze-ified Hall of Famer in the 2025 PBA LBC National Championships Clash.

The third annual event will take place Sept. 26-27 at Strobl Arena inside Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Mich. The event will air live on the PBA’s YouTube channel.

The Clash and a meet and greet with Norm Duke on Sept. 27 are free for all to attend.

“It's on in Detroit for the 2025 PBA LBC National Championships Clash!” Norm Duke said. “I hope to see you at Strobl Arena at Thunderbowl, where the finalists fight it out for a place in PBA history and The Duke."

Champions of each division of the 2025 PBA LBC National Championships, contested May 31-July 13 at Bowlero Mount Prospect in Illinois, will compete in the Clash.

The Clash, featuring a $53,000 prize fund, will be a one-ball eliminator format. The finalists will compete in a four-game seeding round to determine the order of the Clash.

Tom Daugherty won the first Clash in 2023, and 17-year-old Gianna Brandolino brought home the Duke last year.
