Professional Bowlers Association and Pilgrim’s announce sponsorship deal

RICHMOND, VA. — The Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) announced today an agreement that makes Pilgrim’s, a leading global provider of premium food products across the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Europe, a sponsor of the PBA for the 2024 season.

“The Pilgrim’s company and the PBA share the same goal of delivering wholesome, quality products to our customers,” said Lev Ekster, the Chief Strategy Officer at Bowlero Corp. and PBA. “We’re excited to bring Pilgrim’s on as a sponsor. What goes better with bowling than an order of wings?”

As a sponsor of the PBA, Pilgrim’s will be integrated into the PBA Tour in a number of ways, including sponsored elements during PBA Tour telecasts, branded social media posts, and promotions in the PBA Bowling Challenge app which has over 34 million downloads.

Additionally, Pilgrim’s will become the presenting sponsor of a 2024 PBA Tour event. The Pilgrim’s PBA Indiana Classic, the fifth title event of the season, will be held Feb. 18-24 at David Small’s Championship Lanes in Anderson, Ind. The championship round will air Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The PBA Tour’s 66th season begins on FOX Jan. 15, 2024 with the PBA Players Championship. Coverage begins on Jan. 9 with the pre-tournament qualifier and Jan. 10 with official qualifying rounds, which will be livestreamed on BowlTV.
