Sean Rash Earns Top Seed for PBA Players Championship
Euless, Texas—Sean Rash rolled a three-game series of 695 to claim the No. 1 seed for tomorrow’s PBA Players Championship stepladder finals, which will air live at 8:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports’ FS1.
Trailing Rash are Jason Belmonte (693), Arturo Quintero (630), Tommy Jones (599) and Graham Fach (569). The three-game, total-pinfall seeding round streamed live on the PBA Facebook page to position each of the five PBA Players Championship Regional Finals winners into the championship round.
Rash, who won the Midwest Region, filled 20 pins in the 10th frame of the final game to stay ahead of Belmonte by two pins. Rash will need to win a single game tomorrow to earn his 18th PBA Tour title and third major.
