Las Vegas, Nevada – The final tournament on the schedule for the PBA50 season is going on now at Sam’s Town Bowling Center, the 2021 USBC Senior Masters.

This prestigious event began Tuesday with the first of three straight days of five-games of qualifying. Last week, PBA50 rookie Tom Hess earned his first PBA50 Title at the Senior U.S. Open and now he finds himself in 1st place at this year’s USBC Senior Masters.

Hess, who won the 2011 USBC Masters on the national tour, is looking to add even more winning to his impressive season. He bowled 228, 268, 247, 262 and 206 for 1,211, an average of 242.20.

Walt Blackston is in 2nd place sitting just 14-pins behind Hess. He had games of 246, 248, 234, 192 and 277 for 1,197. David Leverage averaged 231.80 with a total pinfall of 1,159 to find himself in 3rd place followed by Parker Bohn III in 4th with 1,141 and Tom Adcock is in 5th at 1,116.

Amleto Monacelli, who is the 2019 defending champion at this tournament, is tied for 74th place with a total pinfall of 991.

The bowlers will return to the lanes Wednesday for five more games of qualifying. First up is the B squad starting at 11 a.m. EST, followed by the C squad at 3 p.m. EST and the A squad begins at 7 p.m. Eastern. You can watch the rest of the tournament live on BowlTV.com.
