Ft. Myers, Fla. – Kristijonas Sergejevas of Lithuania, defeated Evan Baranecky of N. Ft. Myers, Fla., 234-181, to win the PBA iROOF FT. Myers Challenge to capture his first PBA Regional title on Sunday.

In the PBA50 portion of the PBA South Region doubleheader, amateur John Hough of Naples, Fla., defeated Ralph Brunt Jr. of Jensen Beach, Fla., 267-257, in the final match to win the event.

Sergejevas and Hough earned $2,400 and $2,000, respectively, for their first place finishes. Only Sergejevas earned a PBA title, as Hough was not a PBA member at the time of his win.

Baranecky earned $1,300 for second place in the standard event while Brunt Jr. earned $1,000 for his second-place finish in the PBA50 tournament.

The PBA South Region’s next event will be the PBA50 Fayetteville Open for bowlers 50 and older in Fayetteville, N.C., Mar. 12-14.
