After an exciting start to the 2021 PBA50 season, bowlers are ready to get going again starting on Monday

 

Lubbock, Texas - The PBA50 Cup, presented by South Plains Lanes & Lubbock Sports Authority, will be the first of two tournaments held in Texas as the tour resumes.

The action will begin with two five-game blocks of qualifying on Monday starting at 9 a.m. Central, followed by five more games of qualifying on Tuesday before the field is cut to the top 16. The stepladder finals are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. You can watch all rounds on FloBowling.com.

Pete Weber, who picked up back-to-back wins already this season, comes in as arguably the hottest bowler. He has an eye on passing Walter Ray Williams Jr. for the most PBA50 Tour Titles at 15. Weber currently has 13.

The last PBA50 Cup was held in 2019 at Spectrum Lanes in Wyoming, Michigan. Brian Kretzer earned his first PBA50 Title which happened to be a major over Amleto Monacelli.
