The PBA Regional Tour Heats Up as Players Compete to Earn Points into RPI

New York, NY – Competition for the top spots in the PBA Regional Players Invitational (RPI) is underway as players acquire points throughout the 2021 PBA Regional Tour season.

Since January 1, players have been competing in open field regional events and now have six months to continue earning points to qualify for the special event. The top eight players in points from the South, East, Midwest, West, Central, and Southwest, plus the top six players from the Northeast will automatically earn a spot.

In addition to the top 54 regional players, 26 senior bowlers will also earn spots in the RPI, including the top four seniors in points from the South, East, Midwest, West, Central, and Southwest, and the top two seniors from the Northwest.

To complete the 120-member field, each region will hold a special RPI Tournament Qualifier to fill the remaining 40 spots. Four RPI Tournament Qualifiers are available for sign-ups.
