Williamsburg, Va. – The second PBA Jr. Regional tournament in the South was a great success seeing three winners across three youth divisions at AMF Williamsburg Lanes in Williamsburg, Va. Jackson Veitch, Brianna Rogers, and Lance Morris each captured the U15 Mixed, U18 Girls, and U18 Boys Divisions, respectively.

U15 Mixed: Jackson Veitch of Edinburg, Va., who qualified as the number one seed in the four-person stepladder finals, easily won his match against Christopher Rhea Jr. of Newport News, Va.,179-151, to win the title in the U15 Mixed division. Veitch added $1000 to his SMART Fund account. In the first stepladder match, Chance McLane of Chesapeake Beach, Va. defeated Clayton Washington of Midlothian, Va., 193-174. McLane then lost to Rhea Jr., 177-167.

U18 Girls: Brianna Rogers of Florence, S.C., defeated Amanda Granata of Florham, N.J., 211-158 to win the U18 Girls division and added $1000 scholarship funds to her SMART account. Rogers, who earned the third seed in the stepladder finals, won her first match 187-168, against Kaytlen Peck of Fort Lawn, S.C. and the semifinal match, 216-160, against Juliana Kerrigan Peck of Ashland, Va.

U18 Boys: Lance Morris of Beattyville, Ky., defeated Andru Blaney of Indian Head, Md., 244-210 to win the U18 Boys division and earned the $1000 SMART Fund Scholarship. Brandon who qualified for the stepladder finals in the third seed defeated Tristan Rock-Rolison of Seale, Ala. in the opening match 179-156. Then Morris went on to defeat Mason Doan of Royersford, Pa. in the semifinal match 220-181.

The next PBA Jr. South Region event is the PBA Jr. National Championship event in Marietta, Ga., September 3-4, 2021.
