240 bowlers advance to the Semi-Finals of tournament

 

New York, NY – The Quarterfinals for the First-Ever PBA Bowlero Global Rumble Powered by Lanetalk have concluded with over 2,700 participants and over 18,000 games bowled in two weeks. Now, just the top 40 bowlers from each of the six conferences (240 total), advance to the Semi-Finals for a chance to win the $10,000 Grand Prize.

The Semi-Finals competition begins today at participating Bowlero Corp and international locations equipped with Lanetalk.

The 240 remaining bowlers consist of the top 40 from each of the six conferences. Participants will now have just one week to bowl their best two consecutive games for a chance to advance to the Finals. The top two bowlers in each conference will advance to the livestreamed Grand Finale on Saturday, April 17th. Details on the livestream to be announced on PBA.com.

The PBA Bowlero Global Rumble tournament is hosted on the Lanetalk app, featuring four stages of competition within six conferences in the US and internationally until one true global champion is crowned.

There are two stages left of competition:

Stage 3: Semi-Finals (April 7-April 13)
The remaining 240 bowlers will have one week and 99 attempts to submit their two best consecutive scores. The top two bowlers from each US and International Conference will advance to the Grand Finale.

Stage 4: Grand Finale (April 17)
The remaining 12 bowlers will all bowl on the same day and will have only one attempt to submit their two best consecutive games. The time of the live-streamed Finale will be announced at a later date. The bowler with the highest score will be crowned the First-Ever PBA Bowlero Global Rumble Champion and win $10,000.

Throughout the tournament, individuals will be able to follow along with the competition and view live scores from each conference at pba.com/rumble#leaderboard.
