Woodstock, Ga. – Andrew Farrow Jr. of Anderson, S.C. won his first PBA50 South Regional title with a narrow 34 pin victory Saturday over PBA Hall of Famer Walter Ray Williams Jr. of Oxford, Fla.

Heading into the final position round game, Farrow had a 105-pin lead over then second place James Lord. Lord defeated Farrow 236-212, but Farrow’s total pinfall count was high enough to hold onto first place. Walter Ray Williams Jr. scored a game winning 257 in his final match, which catapulted him into second place in the final standings.

Farrow earned $1800 for the win with a 4-2 match play record while Williams Jr., 3-3 earned $900 for finishing second.

The PBA South Region’s next tournament will be the PBA AMF Woodstock, Ga. South Open in Woodstock, Ga. on October 3.
