ENTRIES OPEN FRIDAY, AUG. 14

ELIGIBILITY FOR PBA ELITE REGIONAL TOUR EVENTS:

Any PBA member in good standing.

Collegiate players are eligible for the PBA ELITE Regional Tour events but not the PBA Regional Players Invitational pres. by USBC.

PBA ELITE REGIONAL EVENT ENTRY PRIORITY:

  • PBA Elite Regional events will consist of 75% of max field size for PBA Standard division and 25% of max field size for PBA Senior division.
  • Players from any region may enter any of the 21 Elite Regional events; however, home region players receive entry priority
  • If the field fills entirely with players from the home region, the event is closed to outside-region entrants. The address listed with PBA membership dictates your home region unless you request and are granted an exception. Requests should be submitted to [email protected].
  • After a pre-event cutoff date (21 days), if the field is not yet full of home region players, entry opens to players from other regions to fill remaining spots
  • The senior division will be reserved for any senior player who holds a PBA title. If the field fills entirely with players who hold a PBA title, the event is close to additional senior players. If the field is not full, the event will open to all senior players 21 days prior to the start date.

2027 PBA TOUR PRIORITY STATUS PLAYER PARTICIPATION RULES*:

  • May enter three (3) PBA ELITE Regional Tour events; limited to 2 in home region; 1 outside of home region
  • Compete for full prize money and may win the tournament title if they finish first
  • Are not eligible for RPI qualifying credit under any circumstance — regardless of finish position, including a win
  • Are not eligible to compete in the RPI, which is reserved exclusively for players seeking to qualify onto the PBA Tour

*2027 PBA TOUR PRIORITY STATUS PLAYER DEFINITION

A player holds Priority Status for the 2027 PBA Tour season if they meet any of the following:

  • Finished the 2026 season in the top 75 on the PBA points list (if status is decline, spot does not move down the point list)
  • Won any PBA national Tour title within the past 10 years (2017–2026)
  • Are a member of the PBA Hall of Fame (Performance Category Only)
  • Top three from Collegiate Bowling PBA Points List (Brandon Bohn, Bryce Oliver, Carter Street)
  • Medical Exception (Matt Taylor)
  • Top three who qualify via Regional Players Invitational (RPI)
  • Top four who qualify via PBA Combine

NOTE: 2027 PBA Tour will be exclusive to PBA Priority status players only with the exception of the PBA World Series of Bowling, PBA Tournament of Champions and any event run by the USBC.

2027 PBA SENIOR PRIORITY STATUS PLAYER PARTICIPATION RULES*:

  • May enter three (3) PBA ELITE Regional Tour events; limited to 2 in home region; 1 outside of home region
  • Compete for full prize money and may win the tournament title if they finish first
  • Are not eligible for RPI qualifying credit under any circumstance — regardless of finish position, including a win

  • Are a member of the PBA Hall of Fame (Senior & Performance Category Only)

PATHWAY TO THE PBA REGIONAL PLAYERS INVITATIONAL PRES. BY USBC (STANDARD DIVISION):

REPEAT TOP FINISHERS:

If a player has already secured an automatic RPI bid from a Top-5 finish in an earlier PBA ELITE Regional Tour, and subsequently finishes Top 5 again in another Elite event, that second bid rolls down to the next-highest finisher in that event's final standings. A player who has already secured their RPI spot does not occupy a second one.

REMAINING FIELD:

The balance of the RPI field is filled using each region's standard RPI points list (Nov. 15, 2025 – Aug. 31, 2026). If any bowler qualifies in a PBA ELITE Regional Tour event, that PBA ELITE Regional Tour event trumps the spot from the points list.
