There are no entry fees required for PBA Elite League: Battle of the Brands.

Format:

Baker matches (5 players) in a 6-team extended stepladder

Teams will be seeded based on final point standings, which will be determined following the conclusion of the PBA World Championship on June 13.

Show 1:

Match 1: No. 6 Seed vs No. 5 Seed (one game, 5 frames on each lane, 5th seed chooses starting lane)

Match 2: Match 1 Winner vs No. 4 Seed (one game, 5 frames on each lane, 4th seed chooses starting lane)

Match 3: Match 2 Winner vs No. 3 Seed (Race-to-2. If tied at 1-game each, roll-off is a 3-player, one-ball each, total pinfall; For each of the first two games, teams stay on their own lane, switching for game 2; roll-off will be on 3rd seed’s choice)

Show 2:

Match 4: Match 3 Winner vs No. 2 Seed (Race-to-2. If tied at 1-game each, roll-off is a 3-player, one-ball each, total pinfall; For each of the first two games, teams stay on their own lane, switching for game 2; roll-off will be on 2nd seed’s choice)

Match 5: Match 4 Winner vs No. 1 Seed (Race-to-2. If tied at 1-game each, roll-off is a 3-player, one-ball each, total pinfall; For each of the first two games, teams stay on their own lane, switching for game 2; roll-off will be on 1st seed’s choice)

Equipment Notice:

All bowling balls on the PBA National Tour (including PTQs) must be manufactured on or after 8/1/2022. Only registered equipment that has been cleared and listed on PBA.com will be allowed in any PBA Tour Event.

NOTE: For the PBA National Tour, any older second shot balls (spare balls) made of plastic or rubber may be approved for use at spares or as a fill ball by the Tournament Director or Director of Rules and Equipment on case by case basis.
