After 28 qualifying games, the top five bowlers in each region will advance to the Regional Finals and be seeded according to their 28th game pin total. Practice sessions will be held for all players January 21-24. More detail to follow.

The PBA Players Championship is open to all PBA members.
Qualifying rounds are happening in five regions in the U.S. January 14-16, 2022. Before entering check your specified region listed on each tournament page to make sure you are entering the correct regional qualifier.
Maximum Field Sizes
Field sizes in each region are limited to 96, except for the West which has a limited field of 76.
Entry priority will be given in the following order, provided PBA members, regardless of status, have entered by the appropriate entry deadline dates listed below.
- The top 75 point leaders on the 2021 PBA Tour Point List
- PBA Tour title holders
- General PBA membership
- Collegiate bowlers (if spots remain available after the entry deadline date)
Priority Entries (2021 PBA Tour Point Leaders & PBA Tour Title Holders)
Priority entries open online November 1, 2021 at 10 a.m. CST. Spots will be held for priority entrants until November 21,2021 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
General PBA Membership Entries
Entries open online for the entire PBA membership November 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. CST. The final deadline for PBA members to enter is December 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. CST. Entries will be confirmed based on the time and date of entry. If entries exceed the maximum field size allowed before entries close on December 31, 2021, a PTQ will be held and a minimum of six will advance from the PTQ.
PBA members must enter online. Phone and mailed entries will not be accepted. Anyone needing instructions on how to enter online, or having difficulty entering this event can contact membership services at (206) 332-9688.
Collegiate bowlers may also compete if spots are available in the tournament. They will be placed on standby until one day after the entry deadline date has passed for PBA members. If spots remain they will be moved to the main field according to their time and date of entry.

Six spots in each region are reserved for the Pro Tour Qualifier if necessary (PTQ).

How to Enter / Where to Enter (based on residence)
NOTE: You should enter according to your current residence. If any player has a new residence that is difference than what is in your PBA profile please contact John Weber, [email protected] with an updated location immediately. Additionally, they will need to update their PBA profile.
NOTE: International players from countries not listed in a specific regional qualifier can contact Tom Clark at [email protected] for their designated qualifying center and any issues relating to entering the USA.

The PBA Players Championship Finals on January 29 will pay:
1st place ($100,000), 2nd place ($60,000), 3rd place ($45,000) 4th place ($35,000) 5th place ($30,000)
The PBA Players Regional Finals January 22 - 24 will pay:
1st place (advances to the Championship final on January 28-29), 2nd place ($15,000), 3rd place ($13,000) 4th place ($11,000) 5th place ($10,000)
Regional qualifiers payout ratio is 1:3. Projected prize fund based on 96 entries:
