Two years ago Webb topped him In the Greater Miami Sunshine Open. Seeded third into the nationally televised finals at Don Carter's Kendall Lanes, Weber was forced to wait 'one game before swinging into action. In the first game, Steve Wunderlich ousted Mark Williams, 193-171. That brought up Weber, who buried Wunderlich, 232-145, and then topped Brian Voss, 216-171. In the duel with Webb, Weber led in the first frame, then fell behind as Webb netted a three-bagger in the second, third and fourth frames. A baby split proved to be Webb's undoing in the fifth frame and Weber doubled in the eighth and ninth frames to take the lead and pull away at the end.
