Carmen Bags Another

Veteran Carmen Salvino swept to his 15th career victory as he topped Larry Laub, 210-192, in the title game of the $60,000 Quad Cities Open.

A 5-7 split in the seventh frame of the final match may have cost Laub the trophy.

Salvino opened the game with a three-bagger and was protecting a slim lead until that seventh frame, when Laub came up with the split.
