$60,000 PORTLAND HBO OPEN
Valley Lanes, Beaverton, Ore., Jun 26-30, 1976

Laub's Revenge

Larry Laub, seeking vindication for a runnerup finish last year, defeated Keith Craycraft, 235-177, to win the championship of the $60,000 Portland Home Box Office Open.

Not only did the 32-year-old San Franciscan make good on his second chance to win after losing to Sal Bongiorno in the 1975 Portland stop, but he also came through when Craycraft reopened the door early in their title match.
