Continuing a string of superb performances, Earl Anthony rolled his way to a second straight $14,000 triumph when he walked off with first place in the $100,000 AMF Dick Weber 5 Star Open.

He easily defeated Tommy Hudson 246-195, in the title match after Hudson had turned in impressive games of 279 and 261 In disposing of his first two opponents in the championship flight.
