Seymore Wins His First

Alex Seymore's first PBA victory was a long time coming, five years in fact, but the Kannapolis, N.C. pro hopes it's the first of manHe won the $80,000 STP Classic at Miami's Bird Bowl the hard way, winning four consecutive games, including a championship-game win over Larry Laub, 214-196.

Arrayed against Seymore in the finals, in addition to the top-seeded Laub, were Dick Ritger, Jay Robinson and Jimmy McHugh, Lynbrook, N. Y., also looking for his first PBA title.
