It's McCune At Fresno

Don McCune captured his fourth Professional Bowlers Association title of 1973 in the $37,500 Fresno Open, with a come-from-behind performance in the afternoon session on the final day, Dale Glenn of Los Angeles and Bobby Williams of Detroit played with the lead. Neither had won a PBA event. At the start of the evening session Glenn led Williams by 40 pins with McCune third. Glenn proceeded to win five out of his first six matches but lost the last two. Williams shot a losing 199 in the seventh game of the evening, but then defeated Barry Asher 247-217 to move past Glenn into second. McCune then defeated Glenn in the position round game 238-205.
