Weber Bags Three 300's

"Three 300 games in one tournament? IMPOSSIBLE! ! !"That was the reaction which greeted Dick Weber's super effort as he rode the three big ones to his 15th. PBA tournament title in the Houston Open.

The 126-pound St. Louis battler needs only two more perfect games to tie the all-time high of 17 held by George Billick.

Weber recorded his first 300 on Friday night, the first round of the qualifier. He then added the next two in the finals to just edge his brother-in-law, Norm Meyers. Norm, not to be entirely out of the family performance, also posted a perfect game during the qualifier.
