Soutar's career began with a boom when he became the youngest winner in the PBA National Championship, topping the 1961 field at age 21. He went on to win 17 more titles and more than $400,000 in the ensuing years. He has continued his success on the PBA Senior Tour, capturing seven titles including the 2003 Senior U.S. Open. Was inducted into USBC Hall of Fame in 1985
