Participant must be a USBC Member in good standing. Non members must meet PBA average requirements.

 

PBA Challenge Points

This event will award PBA Challenge Points.  Details are listed below.

Entry Fee

PBA and PWBA Members: $150

Non-Members: $175 (money order, cashiers check or credit card only)

 

Note

PWBA members who are not also PBA members must enter events through the Regional Manager in order to receive the $150 member entry fee rate.  Any PWBA member who is inadvertently charged the non-member entry fee should contact the regional manager immediately.  

 

Entry Deadline

Online entries for members and non-members close at midnight on Monday, October 2, 2017.

After the deadline, entries must be made directly with the PBA Midwest Region Manager.

 

Prize Fund

1st Place is projected to pay $2,000

16th Place is projected to pay $400

Final cash spot is guaranteed to pay a minimum of $250.

 

Schedule

Saturday, October 7

Practice Session:  2-3 p.m.

Non-member Meeting: 3 p.m.

Pro-am: 3:30 p.m.

 

Sunday, October 8

Roll call is 30 minutes prior to all squads.

A Squad: 8 a.m. – (seven games)      

Top 20 players advance (based on 60 entries).

 

Sunday, October 8
Cashers Round: 1:00 p.m. – (three games) all pinfall carries over.
Top 16 advance: 2:15 p.m. - bowl three games (10-game pinfall carries over).
Top 8 advance: 3:30 p.m. – bowl three games (13-game pinfall carries over).
Top 4 advance: 5 p.m.  (16 game total pinfall) to stepladder finals.
 
PBA Challenge Information
In each of the PBA’s eight regions (East, South, Central, Midwest, Southwest, West, Northwest and Japan), the competition points leaders of each region as of October 15, 2017 will earn a paid entry into the World Series of Bowling IX along with a berth in a special eight-game match play roll-off leading to two bowlers advancing to the PBA Challenge Finals.
