Eligibility
Participant must be a USBC Member in good standing. Non members must meet PBA average requirements.
 
PBA Challenge Points
This event will award PBA Challenge Points.  Details are listed below.

Entry Fee
PBA and PWBA Members: $175
Non-Members: $225 (money order, cashiers check or credit card only)
 
Note
PWBA members who are not also PBA members must enter events through the Regional Manager in order to receive the $175 member entry fee rate.  Any PWBA member who is inadvertently charged the non-member entry fee should contact the regional manager immediately.  
 
Entry Deadline
Online entries for members and non-members close at midnight on Monday, March, 27th.
After the deadline, entries must be made directly with the PBA Central Region Manager.
 
Prize Fund
1st Place is projected to pay $2,000
12th Place is projected to pay $500
Final cash spot is guaranteed to pay a minimum of $350.
Points will only count in Central Region.
 
PBA Tournament Qualifying Sweepers
Sunday, February 26th and Sunday, March 26th  
Both events will begin at 1:00 p.m. (check-in one-hour prior)
Entry fee is $55 per event. 1:6 will earn an entry into regional.
Side Pots will be available.
PBA Members and SMART bowlers are welcome.
A maximum of one (1) PBA spot will be granted per event.
6 games across 12 lanes on the tournament pattern…based on total pins.

Saturday, April 1
Practice Session:  2:30-4:30 p.m.
Orientation Meeting: 4:30 p.m. (Mandatory for all first-time participants)
Pro Am: 6 p.m.
Sunday, April 2
Roll call is 30 minutes prior to all squads.
A Squad: 9 a.m. – (seven games)
Top 12 players advance (based on 48 entries).
Top 4 players receive 1st round bye
Bracket Match Play (based on 12 finalists)
Round 1 – Qualifiers 5-12 bowl (best-of-three games): 1:30 p.m.
Round 2 – Winners bowl plus Byes (best-of-three games): Immediately following
Round 3 – Winners bowl (single-game): Immediately following
Round 4 – Winners bowl (single-game): Immediately following
Finals format will be adjusted accordingly with less than 48 entries.
 
PBA Challenge Information
In each of the PBA’s eight regions (East, South, Central, Midwest, Southwest, West, Northwest and Japan), the competition points leaders of each region as of October 15, 2017 will earn a paid entry into the World Series of Bowling IX along with a berth in a special eight-game match play roll-off leading to two bowlers advancing to the PBA Challenge Finals.
