Won all 13 of his titles in a seven-year span (1987-1993), including four titles in 1991. Won the 1987 U.S. Open, the 1989 Tournament of Champions and the 1993 BPAA U.S. Open, as well as the 1988 USBC Masters. With his first career victory at the '87 Open, he became the first player in the history of professional bowling to win a six-figure first prize ($100,000). Won back-to-back titles in 1989 and 1991. Became the 11th player in PBA history to surpass $1 million in career earnings in 1994.
