John Forst teamed with hometown senior favorite Louie Blancarte to carry off the trophies and $25,000 first prise for winning the $130,000 Columbia Seniors/Touring Pro Doubles Championship. They toppled the leading qualifying team of Brian Voss and Les Zikes, 203-1118, when Voss, needing a mark to win for his team, left an 8-7-10 split on his first ball in the 10th frame. The five teams earned their way into the finals after 80 Seniors and 80 Touring Pros started In separate divisions before being paints for match play In the Inaugural event.
