Anthony handled Tom Baker in the title match, 218-202, for the $16,000 top prize after having eliminated Paul Moser, 254-191, and Mark Roth, 227-182. In the second frame of the Moser match, Anthony flinched while making a shot, straining a lower back muscle but compensated with a slight change in his delivery that enabled him to continue competing, and winning for the remainder of the event.
