Ritger Smokes Holman

Dick Ritger averaged 263 for two games, defeating Marshall Holman, 248-226, in the final match, to win the $80,000 Dutch Masters Open, his 19th Professional Bowlers Association championship.

Ritger, seeded second for the TV finals, outgunned Dennis Lane, 279-244, in the semifinal match and then knocked off the top-seeded Holman for the title.
