Miller High Life Open

$80,000 MILLER HIGH LIFE OPEN
Red Carpet Bowlero, Milwaukee, Wis., Apr 1-5, 1975

Davis' Draught Ends

Dave Davis, Atlanta, Ga., broke a five-year winner's drought when he topped Earl Anthony, Tacoma, Wash., in the finals of the $80,000 Miller High Life Open.

Davis hadn't won a Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) title since 1970 at San Jose, Cal., and the 206-189 victory over Anthony left the slim lefthander on cloud nine. Davis was forced to go to the final frame before he could lock up PBA career win number 13.
