Showing the form that carried him to two titles on the winter tour, Dick Ritger topped Earl Anthony, 266-202, in the championship game of the $50 000 Starlanes-Ebonite Open at Waukegan's Bertrand Lanes. It was Ritger's second straight 266 in his three-game march to the title, in which he totalled 779 pins while defeating Jay Robinson, Skee Foremsky and then Anthony. Ritger's win was his first since the $100,000 Midas Open, the 1974 season opener at Oakland, Cal., and the $70,000 Fair Lanes Open title at Baltimore.
