Miller High Life Open

$80,000 MILLER HIGH LIFE OPEN
Red Carpet-Bowlero, Milwaukee, Wis., Mar 19-23, 1974

Two Straight For Guenther

Johnny Guenther won his second title in as many weeks when he defeated Larry Laub, 225-215, in the $80,000 Miller High Life Open Saturday. Guenther took the Lincoln-Mercury Open in Denver just one week earlier.

By winning the Miller Open Guenther became a repeat champion as he captured the title in 1968, also at Red Carpet-Bowlero.

In upsetting Laub, who was seeded number one into the title game, Guenther thwarted Laub's quest for his fourth PBA victory of the winter tour.
