Larry Laub, San Francisco, Calif., threw every ball into the pocket in the championship game as he defeated Bill Allen, Orlando, Fla., 196-183, to win the $70,000 Don Carter Classic in Arcadia, Calif.

Laub, top-seeded into the finals, recorded his fourth Professional Bowlers Association career win, while halting Allen in his bid for a 14th title.
