No Sheep In Meadows

Bobby Meadows, an on-again, off-again professional from Houston, Texas, won the $60,000 Fair Lanes Open when he upset defending champion Johnny Petraglia, Brooklyn, N.Y., in the championship game, 195-187. The victory was the first ever notched by Meadows in his professional bowling career.

Meadows won two matches to claim his crown. lie was seeded number two behind Petraglia in the nationally televised finals, after climbing all the way from 23rd place in the field of 24 who reached the match game semi-finals.
