Another new PBA champion was crowned in the Tucson Open as TERRY BOOTH final-gamed himself into the championship.
Booth, who was close but never in the lead over the 39-game route, scored a big 258-181 victory over Fred Lening in the 40th outing to grab the title.
The Californian's total pinfall was 9306, including 650 bonus pins he collected for winning 13 of his 16 match games. Mike Limongello was second with 9295 and Mike Durbin was third with 9261.
