No. 2 For Glover

DON GLOVER survived a sudden-death playoff - in the Ebonite Open at Kansas City to register his second triumph of the 1969 Championship season.

Billy Hardwick eliminated Nelson Burton, Jr., 277-257, and tumbled Dave Soutar, 233-214, before tying Glover, 224-224. Glover then hit a pair of strikes in the two frame rolloff to stymie Hardwick's two-in-a-raw effort. In the title finale, Glover defeated first-seeded Don Johnson, 245-212.

Six other pros got into the act with 300 games. The clean half dozen included Bobby Cooper, Ray Bluth, Eddy Patterson, Wayne Zahn, Roger Fink and, Dick Battista.
