McCune "Loses" Field

Don McCune won his first PBA championship by an incredible 412 pins in the $30,000 Ft. Worth Open.

McCune took 13 of his 16 matches in the finals for a 9,585 total. Dale Seavoy was the distant second-place man at 9,173.

Ernie Schlegel knocked off his second 300 game of the year. Schlegel's other perfect game came in the Miller Open in March.
