Stefanich Wins Again

After losing a 279-267 game to Dave Soutar in the 15th game, Jim Stefanich came back to defeat Soutar, 225-178, in the position round game and win the $3,000 first-place check in the $30,000 Portland Open. Stefanich now had won five tournaments in 1968, including Tampa, Fla.; Toledo, Ohio; Mobile, Ala., and the BPAA All-Star at New York before Portland.
