Schissler Flips Fresno Foes

Les Schissler won his second PBA title of the year and fourth overall when he spread-eagled the 112-man field in the $29,000 Fresno Open.

Schissler, who also captured the singles and all events crowns in this year's ABC play, had a 73-pin advantage over second place Mike McGrath at the finish. At one time he led by 290 pins.

As a result of the $3,000 first place check, Schissler upped his tournament winnings for the year to $19,990 and moved into fifth place in the money standings.
