Limongello Nabs First Big One

Mike Limongello (pronounced lemon jello) certainly wasn't quivering in Oklahoma City where he beat the best in the business in wrapping up the $5,000 first prize.

The 20-year-old youngster absorbed an opening defeat at the hands of Dick Hoover in the TV finals and then bested Dave Soutar and Bob Strampe to win it all.

This was Mike's first major tournament title. He had been on the PBA tour for less than a year.
